My buddy and I visited Bob Taylor's Ranch House after specifically searching for the best steak dinner in Vegas that wasn't on the strip (who wants to pay insanely for insanely overpriced food). Bob Taylor's didn't disappoint, absolutely everything here was amazing. We tried a couple appetizers before diving into the main course, I had the porterhouse (pictured) while my buddy had a bone-in ribeye. That was without a doubt one of the best meals I've ever eaten.

If you love a old school steak house, this is your place. It's literally down a street with no street lights, but it's worth it. Our waitress Kali has been working there for 20 years. She was amazing and this place is too! The lobster tail was one of the biggest we have had anywhere, and the steaks were delicious. The grill at this place is worth the trip itself.

Last night’s prime rib experience at the Bob Taylor’s Ranch House was nothing short of extraordinary, a true celebration of culinary craftsmanship and indulgence. From the moment the dish arrived at the table, the presentation alone set the stage for what was to become an unforgettable meal. The prime rib was generously portioned, showcasing a beautifully browned crust that hinted at the perfect balance of seasoning and searing. The aroma wafting from the plate was intoxicating—rich, smoky, and deeply savory, promising a flavor journey that would delight every sense. As I cut into the prime rib, the tenderness was immediately apparent. The meat yielded effortlessly to the knife, revealing a juicy, rosy interior that spoke to expert cooking techniques and impeccable timing. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures—the crisp, flavorful outer crust contrasted wonderfully with the succulent, melt-in-your-mouth center. The seasoning was masterfully executed, enhancing the natural beef flavors without overpowering them. Subtle hints of garlic, rosemary, and black pepper intertwined perfectly, creating layers of complexity that kept each mouthful interesting and satisfying. The accompanying sides and sauces complemented the prime rib impeccably. A creamy horseradish sauce added a gentle kick that elevated the richness of the beef, while a side of roasted vegetables brought a fresh, earthy balance to the plate. The mashed potatoes were luxuriously smooth and buttery, serving as a comforting base that absorbed the meat’s juices beautifully. The entire meal was a testament to the steakhouse’s dedication to quality and flavor, making the prime rib not just a dish but a memorable dining experience. Every element, from the cut of meat to the final garnish, reflected a passion for excellence that any steak lover would deeply appreciate. This prime rib was, without a doubt, one of the finest I’ve ever had, setting a new standard for what a steakhouse meal should be.

So, im not going to really be able to go in depth with this review because its pretty much straight to the point. This is one of the best Ranch houses i have ever been in. Their food is absolutely amazing. I was going to have their new york steak, but i walked in and saw them cooking a full rack of baby back ribs so i changed my mind the last minute. The whole exsperience was amazing. Nice and quiet inside, they have an amazing bar where you can also watch a game and have dinner with your adult beverage! .. As soon as we pulled up, you could smell the bbq before you even walked inside. Its a bit of a trek from the vegas strip and its a bit out in no mans land if your a tourist, but i promise you wont regret taking the time to come check this gem out! There really is something here for every pallet! You can thank me later!

Came in about 30 mins till close, they still seated us which was great. Our server was very attentive and was patient, didn’t feel rushed at all. We ordered the crab cakes which were delicious, definitely recommend. Everything was worth the price, the 16 oz ribeye was very flavorful, we got to watch it be cooked right on the grill from our table from afar. The veggies were soft how I like it and was also full of flavor which I enjoyed. To finish off had the chocolate cake and was very pleased but definitely for those chocolate on chocolate lovers for sure or would be overwhelmed by a few bites. I regretted not asking for my bake potato to be baked twice (dressed with the fixings) don’t make the same mistake as me. I recommend this place for a satisfying dinner for your house steak cravings but don’t want to go overboard. Definitely would return.

Prior to going i looked online to get an idea of the costs here. As a single, going through divorce I wanted to treat myself and the prices seemed reasonable so I went. I went early just prior to 1700. There was a few folks there. So no wait to be seated. Ordered a bottle of wine... The server was great.. After 2 glasses of wine I ordered my dinner that came with a house salad... - it was so good! Perfect amount of ranch on every piece of salad without over doing it. - had another glass of wine prior to the main meal... - the steak was to die for and the double stuffed potato was legit. No fake potato'ing it here. It was so good. My only critic would be the cost. At $93.00 (after a tip), I thought good lord that's so expensive!! Considering there are a plethora of other steakhouses around and that this place is not on the strip, you would think it works cater to more locals with simpler pricing. Great atmosphere, Great Service ... The prices are way too high!!!
